Description: The online version of the popular TurboTax software allows you to manage your taxes on-line, and easily share them with your accountant, or access them on the road. It includes the same full and interactive dialog format as well as the ability to jump to any form. Electronic filing as well as an audit review are options, as is state tax filing.
Review: As a committed user of TurboTax, I was not prepared to like the on-line version, but it surprised me. The biggest surprise was that I could use it for free, filling all the information, before buying the product. Thus I could use it as a quick way to see where I was heading in the tax arena. Of course you can't print or file without paying for the product, but it was a winning feature. I like that it remembers where you left off. The down side to the interactive question format is that sometimes it is tedious to get to the exact spot where you want to make a change, and the alternative, of going straight to a form, isn't always an option, as you may not know which form relates to a specific part of the dialog you are in.
