Review: If you have a PayPal account, and would like your customers to pay you via that account, you can generate invoices using the PayPal system. It is limited in functionality, but, it does work, and it is free. For starters, there is little in the way of customizing the look and feel of the invoice that you generate. It only allows you to email the invoice. The main part of an invoicing system for me is to track customers info, so that I can repeat the invoice, and also to see what is outstanding, etc. I want to be able to set up projects and tasks. Paypal invoicing is simply a money-owed system and doesn't hold up to the bigger players such as Freshbooks.
