Description: An on-line tool to import expenses from a credit card, create an expense report, which is sent to the appropriate approver, and then get reimbursed for your expenses via automatic payment, if you want.
Review: The best thing we can say about Expensify is that it is free. The worst thing we can say about expsensify is that it is free. In other words, they don't reveal anything about themselves. Something that is free has got someone behind it. In this case, most likely MasterCard or Amex, as the site promotes your getting one of their cards free. Or, as their website says, "Well, you can use it on your own card, too..." making it sound like a poor second sister.
There is no company information at all on the website. No information about charges that might happen. And with so little information, they would like you to immediately give them your bank account name, number and credit card. I guess there is a sucker born every minute. It may be a good and slick product, uploading your credit card charges and creating a report, but I'd rather work with a known entity than a phantom. We give it a poor rating, for its lack of transparency. Who's footing the bill, Expensify?
By the way, see the reviews for other opinions, who find this product great. It was a winner at TechCrunch.
